Firecracker4 Road Race
The Firecracker4 Road Race is held each Independence Day in Downtown Saratoga Springs. In its 18th year supporting more than 2,500 runners, it is the longest and largest Independence Day race in the Northeast, with a growing Kid’s .02 mile run immediately before, starting at 8:15 a.m.
The four-mile course starts on Broadway in front of the Saratoga Springs City Center. Runners will start down Broadway and turn into the city for what is a fun, fast, yet challenging, run. This race draws people from all over the country (and world!), so be sure to make this race and Saratoga Springs part of your July 4th plans!
Exciting news for USATF members! The 2024 Firecracker4 Road Race is a participating event in this years USATF Adirondack Grand Prix Series. You may find more information regarding the series here.
Saratoga First Day 5K
BACK by popular demand, the Saratoga First Day 5K has replaced the First Night 5K. This 3.1-mile loop is emblematic of the Firecracker4 route. Runners will start on Broadway and quickly turn onto Lake Avenue for the first 3/4 of a mile. With a turn onto Patricia Lane, the route quickly becomes similar to the Firecracker 4 (with a trek on the Spring Run Trail)!
*Please note that the Spring Run Trail is only accessible if deemed safe from the elements.
Revolutionary Run for Veterans
The Saratoga County Veterans Service Agency and Board of Supervisors invites you to the 10th Annual Saratoga County Veterans Trust Fund 5K Race and children’s Fun Run. We have a great location and course which is relatively flat and fast. It begins at Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville and traverses the historic tow path north and across the canal to Hudson Crossing Park.
Following a gentle loop around the Hudson Crossing Park field the course then enters the nature path along the Hudson River. The return is again on the tow path ending with refreshments and ceremonies at a Fort Hardy Park.
Michael J. Pitney Farm Run/Walk 5K
Held at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, the Michael J. Pitney Farm Run/Walk 5K is held on the second Saturday of October. The course features a flat sandstone packed surface that takes runners along the perimeter of the beautiful farm.
Immediately following the 5K, there is a Kid’s Half-Mile run on the infield of the farm.
Funds raised for this event benefit the trails at Pitney Meadows Community Farm to help promote it as a health and wellness venue for all to enjoy.
Silks & Satins 5K
